Gor Nakhapetyan joined Troika Dialog in 1993. In his current position as Managing Director of Troika Dialog, Mr. Nakhapetyan oversees the group's strategic development, and is also in charge of the following departments: the President's Office, PR, HR, the Security Department and Internal Communications.

His career began in 1992 at DialogBank, where he worked as a Sales Manager and Senior Economist. He joined Troika Dialog in 1993. During his tenure, Mr. Nakhapetyan was responsible for developing a special projects incubator that subsequently became TDAM, which he headed in 1996. He was among the founders of Troika Dialog – Ilya Muromets and Troika Dialog – Dobrynia Nikitich mutual funds, as well as the Lexington Troika Dialog Russia Fund (USA), the first open-ended mutual fund in the U.S. allowing foreigners to invest in Russian securities, which was created together with Lexington Management Corporation. In 2001-2003 Mr. Nakhapetyan participated in acquiring and restructuring OAO Rosgosstrakh. He later held the position of Vice President of OAO Rosgosstrakh, with responsibilities including overseeing the President's Apparatus and a number of divisions within the holding; he also managed the company's rebranding project.

Gor Nakhapetyan was among those who launched City Mortgage Bank within a joint project between Troika Dialog and Rosgosstrakh. He is a Member of the Coordination Council of Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and the representative of Partner-Co-founder of the School, Troika Dialog. Mr. Nakhapetyan was also appointed as COO of SKOLKOVO Business School in July 2009.

He is a member of the Advisory Council at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts.

Mr. Nakhapetyan graduated with honors from the Mathematics Department of Yerevan State University (1991) and also completed management training courses at the American University of Armenia (1992).
