Rob Leith was appointed Global Head of Investment Banking and Global Markets, Managing Director in January 2012. He joined Troika Dialog from its close associate, Standard Bank, where he was most recently Group Head of Strategic Expansion and Chief Executive of Global Corporate and Investment Banking.

Rob brings over two decades of experience in emerging markets investment banking and management of a financial services institution to Troika Dialog. He has been Chief Executive of CIB at Standard Bank since 2003. He joined Standard Bank in 1991 and has played a key role in the development of the Group’s business outside South Africa, both organically and through acquisitions. Rob was educated at the University of Cape Town and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
