Serguei Skvortsov, Managing Director of Troika Dialog, joined the company in 1998 as Managing Director of Investment Banking. From 2003 to 2006, he was Executive Director of Troika Dialog, overseeing Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Asset Management, and since April 2006 Mr Skvortsov has also been President of Troika Capital Partners, which manages private equity business and Troika Dialog proprietary investments.

Mr Skvortsov was responsible for many prominent transactions including the buy-out of the Amstar brewery by Efes Group, the sale of a major stake in World Class (a fitness centre chain) the sale of the blocking stake of AvtoVAZ to Renault, establishing the strategic alliance between AvtoVAZ-Renault, and establishing an exclusive strategic partnership between KAMAZ, Daimler AG and Rostechnology State Corporation. In addition, Mr. Skvortsov was also responsible for executing a number of major private equity deals for companies such as Rosgosstrakh (insurance), Mostotrest (bridge construction), and Format (construction materials and packaging), among others.

Since 2006, Mr Skvortsov has been Board Member of KAMAZ, Russia's largest commercial vehicle producer, and World Class, a leading fitness centre chain in Russia. Since 2007, he has been an Advisory Board Member of Nestlé (Russia) and Board Member of AvtoVAZ since June 2008, and Board Member of United Automobile Technologies since 2008 as well as a member of the Investment Committee of the Supervisory Board of Rosnano State Corporation.

Prior to joining Troika Dialog, Mr Skvortsov was Managing Partner at Moscow Business Consultants, which he co-founded in 1988. During his tenure, he secured more than 30 large-scale consulting assignments related to foreign direct investment in Russia. These involved advising domestic and foreign investors on economic, legal and political aspects of public and private transactions in Russia.
