What jobs have you held at Troika?

I joined Troika right after I turned 24. I first worked as a Trading Desk Assistant. At that time, in 1998, the team that I happened to join was known on the market as the Dream Team. This was a small, tight-knit group of talented and like-minded people, and I tried to learn everything from them at once. But after the 1998 crisis I had to leave the company, and I returned only a year later.

After I returned, I worked as a trader at the Equities Desk until 2006. When Troika decided to open a full-fledged office in Kiev, I immediately wanted to be at the forefront, since this office was to be Troika's first office abroad to engage in independent trading on a foreign securities market. What a way to challenge my abilities!

What is your greatest achievement at Troika?

The confidence that the company has in me. They took a gamble with me, and I proved them right. We took a leading position on Ukraine's securities market. This is the most valuable contribution I have made to the company's overall success, and I'm proud of it.

What has been difficult during your career at Troika?

Keeping from breaking down. Stress is the most common thing at work.

What three elements to success at Troika would you recommend to new employees?

Perseverance, being goal-oriented, and ambition.
