What jobs have you held at Troika?

I came to Troika in the summer of 2003 as an intern, following my fourth year of studies at the Higher School of Economics, which I finished a year later with honors. In addition, I received a degree in economics from the People's University of China, where I studied for one year.

Following a two-month internship, I was offered a job as a Junior Analyst in Troika Dialog's Investment Management Department. I started working as an analyst of fixed-income securities. Over the next three years I received four promotions, and in 2006 I became Portfolio Manger. I was made an Associate Partner basically at the same time.

What is your greatest achievement at Troika?

The ability to make decisions independently and see the results of my work.

What has been difficult during your career at Troika?

The most difficult thing for me is delegate responsibilities and powers. It is important to learn to trust others the same as you trust yourself. This is necessary not only for smooth and efficient work, but also for the professional growth of the other team members.

What three keys to success would you recommend to new Troika employees?

Dedication, openness, and the ability to cope with stress.
