Yekaterinburg, May 14–16, 2009

Troika Dialog once again will be an active participant in the Russian Economic Forum in Yekaterinburg. Company representatives will participate in a number of different events as part of the 2009 event.

On May 13, the day before the Forum, Andrei Zvezdochkin, Director of Personal Investments, together with Viktor Dolzhenko, Regional Director (Urals, Siberia, Far East), will speak to students at the Economics Faculty of A.M. Gorky Urals State University. The lecture will address the current economic situation, the nature of Troika Dialog's business and details regarding work as a financial consultant.

On May 14, members of the Sverdlovsk region government will be shown a presentation "Main trends of the Russian economy and prospects of Russia's investment attractiveness" prepared by Troika Dialog's analysts. At the end of the second day, top managers of leading regional companies will attend a seminar on leaders in the new economic conditions. Participating in the seminar's organization are the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and Expert Magazine.

On May 15, Andrei Sharonov, Managing Director of Troika Dialog, will participate in several events at the Forum. He will act as moderator during the roundtable discussion "The Financial Market in the Crisis Period – challenges and opportunities," and also will participate in the plenary discussion "Russia's regions in the crisis conditions under the Sverdlovsk region example."

The Russian Economic Forum in Yekaterinburg is an annual event that was first held in 1996 at the initiative of academic leaders and business representatives with support from the Sverdlovsk regional administration. The Forum creates conditions for the professional exchange of opinions and the perfection of new partnership mechanisms in the investment sphere as well as opportunities to learn about others' experiences in resolving issues relating to investment policy, providing a meeting place for managers of federal and regional ministries and agencies, representatives of industrial businesses, banks, financial-industrial groups, investment and insurance companies, scientific and community organizations and representatives of the mass media.
